Textiles and Temples in Yogyakarta

Join Amanda and Drea from Oh Dear Drea on an adventure through Java exploring ancient temples and the traditions of weaving and batik.

Amanda McLaurin

After a successful career as an event planner, Amanda left it all behind in 2015 moving to Central Java, Indonesia with her husband Joel. For the next two years she connected with artisans around the region specializing in batik and woven textiles. After starting the brand Raya Exchange, they returned to the US settling on Camano Island in Western Washington.

Amanda has long dreamed of sharing her experiences with like-minded travel companions. She’s excited to curate this amazing adventure for you.
